while I didnt grow up in Amsterdam,

it's design is reminiscent of 70s and 80s era malls,.now mostly demolished, throughout the Northeast US.


For me, the beautiful preservation of the Amsterdam Mall

insoires nostaligic memories of the Mohawk Mall near Schenectady, NY.
