Sudbury to White River Junction, Ontario, Canada
Providing an essential service to communities and bush lodges along one of the most remote sections of the CPR's transcontinental railway, VIA Rail's Sudbury to White River Junction service offers an spectacular and unparalleled view of Northern Ontario. Enroute there is almost no cellular phone service, just the sound of the self-powered, 1960s era Budd Railcars, the last of its kind in regular service, propelling its way through an untouched forestial otherworld.
